Installing or evaluating a wind turbine? We can assist in siting anemometers and other weather instruments so that wind farms can be installed at optimal locations. Areas with optimal wind velocity and turbulence are more likely to secure financing and produce sustainable energy. Then we perform quality control checks and analyze data retrievals from wind instruments. This data is critical for ordering the correct turbines and for proper siting of equipment.
We also do initial climate studies to determine the feasible of wind energy. Not every area that has adequate wind velocity has the geography to support wind power.
Invest now in an inexpensive siting report. An initial siting report is inexpensive, but the purchase of weather instruments and the analysis of data can run a couple of thousand dollars. Don't find out later that the site has to be moved a mile or two to get into a better wind field.
